Noah Lyles finished second in the men's 100m semi-final at the 2024 Paris Olympics with a time of 9.83 seconds.

Oblique Seville of Jamaica won the semi-final beating Lyles by 0.02 seconds.

Lyles stared at Seville after crossing the finish line, a reaction that caught the attention of fans.

The stare was possibly in revenge for a similar incident that happened in a previous race in June, where Seville stared at Lyles.

This is Lyles' second Olympic appearance, his first appearance was at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where he won a silver medal in the 200m race.

Seville, who was also at his second Olympic Games, reached the 100m semi-final at the 2020 Olympics but did not advance.

Seville earned a bronze medal in the 4x100m relay at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest.
