During a campaign rally in Detroit, pro-Palestine protesters interrupted Vice President Kamala Harris, causing her to say, "If you want Donald Trump to win, say so."
Harris emphasized her belief in democracy and continued to speak despite the constant interruptions.
The protesters criticized Harris over the Biden administration's support for Israel's war in Gaza, and shouted, "We will not vote for genocide."
More than 15,000 people attended Harris' campaign rally, held at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, the largest rally for her campaign to date.
Michigan, a key battleground state with a significant Arab American and Muslim population, has shown divisions within the Democratic Party over the Middle East conflict.
In the Democratic primary in Dearborn in February, a majority of voters chose "uncommitted" in opposition to Biden's position on the Israel-Gaza conflict.
While supporting Israel, Harris has also criticized the high number of Palestinian casualties and stressed the need to alleviate civilian suffering in Gaza.
