Kamala Harris is now leading the Democratic ticket after Joe Biden exited the race on July 21.
In Wisconsin, a Marquette Law School poll showed Harris trailing Trump by 1 percentage point (49% to 50%) among registered voters.
Harris slightly outperformed Trump among likely voters in the same poll, leading 50% to 49%.
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.6% for registered voters and 4.8% for likely voters.
Aggregated polls showed a deadlock or slight lead for Harris in Wisconsin, with a narrow margin.
Harris held her first presidential rally in Wisconsin, while Trump announced JD Vance as his running mate.
Nationally, Harris holds a slim lead over Trump, with slight variations in polling data across different aggregators.
